One of the reasons I avoid reading harem stories is the treatment of women. It does not matter if it is a gay harem, reverse harem or a normal harem, the women are treated as punching bags or items to collect. It is really hard to find a decent harem.
Also if it is isekai harem, it is even worse. The author will use that fact it is a different world as an excuse for cheating.

One of the things that frustrates me about books where MC has to deal with an evil FL or ML: The author and everyone ignoring the cruel actions of FL and ML under the pathetic excuse of mechanics.
Might as well destroy the whole universe to get rid of the mechanics and start over.
