I'm funny, silly, blunt, full of rage, broken and recklessly damaged. My days are sometimes too dark and my nights are sometimes too long. I often trip over my own insecurities. I require attention, long for passion and wish to be desired. I use music to speak when words fail me, even though words are as important to me as the air I breathe.  Hellooo, I'm Nia and I'm currently 20 years old. (Aug.2020) I live in New York, have a passion for attempting to tell stories as best as I can, currently attend college for English and Psychology... I wrote Imperious when I was around 14 and finished it when I was 16. I'm currently working on my second wolf book,  building a writer's portfolio, developing and eventually perfecting my craft as a storyteller. I have a lot of priorities that slow down my writing process: working, sleeping, myself etc. 

My purpose as a writer: "I think we ought to read only the kind of books that wound or stab us. If the book we're reading doesn't wake us up with a blow to the head, what are we reading for? ... we need books that affect us like a disaster, that grieve us deeply, like the death of someone we loved more than ourselves, like being banished into forests far from everyone, like a suicide. I've been experiencing a lot of writers' block, anxiety, and just fear. I'm attempting to do a lot at once while trying to deal with myself and get myself together so please be understanding and I appreciate my supporters who are. I'm working through everything to do both planning and executing my second wolf book along with mini writing projects to help develop my writing craft. 

Random Facts: Love Harry Potter, and I'm 5'3. Attended WattCon2018, It was great!!!!!!!
