Hi there! Quick question for everyone.
          
          Not sure if there any of you still following me or interested as its been many many years, but if so, hello :)
          
          I'm a second year writing student now and doing great. I'm glad you all enjoy my writing still, even if it is of... questionable quality at times!
          
          So the reason I've come onto here is to ask your opinions because honestly? I'm not too impressed with Wattpad right now. The thing is, they've been monetising fanfictions which I'm really not happy with. For one, fanfictions are meant to be free, monetising it through ads already feels iffy. But the majority of stories here are written by tweens and teenagers. Somehow it feels very wrong for me for Wattpad to be monetizing content made from people that young, especially not being paid for it. But I also do understand Wattpad is a free site to use and has to make its profit somewhere - I just wish there was an option to turn ads off, at least for fanfiction.
          
          Anyway, I wanted to ask what others think of this. Thank you for all the support over the years <3

          For those of you interested, my newer fanfictions are written much better over on my ao3 account @Reewyn. I’m also writing my own original novel I plan to publish based on danmei, so it’d be interesting to see if you all would be interested.

          There needs to be more awareness of the situation in Kenya - not many people know about it, but it's such a sad and intense situation. Please spread awareness if you can, as it's a big and dangerous issue, and is very harmful to the lgbtq community

So I was reading some comments on Pressure when I got stopped by an ad. I had to watch an ad on my own story.
          
          Pressure was written as a bit of fun a few years back, and while it was far from perfect, I enjoyed writing it at the time. There are a few toxic comments here and there, but overall the community within the comments is very entertaining, and I love each and every one of you. 
          
          What I'm not comfortable with is people having to watch ads just to read it. I understand that Wattpad needs to make a profit, but I wish I could choose if y'all got ads. It was written for fun, and published here because I wouldn't get copystriked for writing within the world of MHA. I'm irritated I don't even get the choice to turn off ads, and they're making a profit off of me looking at my own book. 
          
          This was just a little rant, but anyway thank you for the reads - we recently hit 1 million, and I'm honestly just shocked you all liked it that much, even though it was a hot mess. Thank you everyone for your support over the years <3
