MJ C Santos

Xarante or Xarante Forlequin is my self-made pen name. My real name is Mary Joyce C. Santos from the beautiful country, Philippines. I hail from the province of Pangasinan, particularly in the city of Urdaneta.

I write [and read] stories that are mostly inspired from video games, movies, anime's or manga's and other mediums.

Drawing is my main hobby but when I was around 11 years old, I was so inspired by the movies: Harry Potter [by J. K. Rowling] and Series of Unfortunate Events [by Lemony Snickets] that I was driven to write a story for the first time in my life. But I stopped midway because I'm down on vocabulary power and was busy in school life. But now that I'm done with school, I have more time to write again. I do hope that my stories will be appreciated by many. As my writing muse is back, people should expect horror, supernatural, action, fantasy, mystery and a little romance in my masterpieces.
