The mother smiled, her face covered in tears of joy. She held the little baby in her hands, looking over it, thinking of all the great things she would do. Her eyes were closed, as she cried, but the mother didn't care, for she was her pride and joy. Her hair was long and raven colored, slick on her tiny head. Her skin was flawless, the color golden brown, and as she started to calm down, she saw that she had large deep brown eyes. "Hello," the mother said choking up from seeing her first born child,"She looks like a little China doll," commented her sister. Her father loomed over the baby and it's mother, cracking a rare large smile,"What are going to name her?" She thought only for a quick moment, "Tatiana?" They started to think again, "What about my first name, Michael, but the female version?" ,the father exclaimed. "And adding in my middle name, Kay." They looked at one another, and knew what to name their new joy, "Mikayla."

The mother frowned and sighed as she watched her daughter struggle with school work, watching her cry over things that were over-shadowed by greater things she has done, and listening to her hateful words towards herself. She tried her best to keep her daughter calm as her anger got the best of her, and hugged her when all she could do was cry, but sometimes, she could only watch. Her heart broke as she left her daughter in that hell of a place, slowly walking away as she sat in a plastic red chair, leaving behind her pride and joy. She watched, as she started to cry, as she grew more and more sad with every passing day, she watched and watched. She goes hungry just so she can get her children to school on time, she spends money on her two beautiful girls who don't do anything back. She smiles as she sits in bed, hearing the snores of her husband, who she couldn't be happier with, and thinks about her children, her smart, talented children. As she turns off the TV, and lays her head down, she says,"I couldn't ask for more."
