For fifteen years, this War pillaged and plundered it's people to end the Edo and shape it into the new Meiji government. A time created for peace, industry, and the end of samurai.. 

Amongst the samurai warriors, was one unforgettable man slayer, the Battosai.. Known for his cross shaped scar on his left cheek, and the blood red hair, he was one who helped shaped the new Meiji era with his sword.
But once the battle was over, the Battosai vanished without a trace..

10 years in the Meiji era, the Battosai is no more. He is now just a simple wanderer, carrying a reverse blade sword, as he swore to never again take another life.
