Will the story continue to be updated?

Hey what happened to the story? I’m waiting to read it!!! Come on, upload it! 

The Mafia's Chocolate Goddess will be re-written and revamped. The story will stay the same for the most part, but after going through it multiple times, the story made me cringe in so many ways. The details weren't adding up, there were details missing, and the execution was just terrible. In the past I've suffered from depression, which was why I was so inconsistent with writing and after a while, I lost my passion for it. I really am sorry for giving y'all false promises on how often I was going to update and it was difficult for me to keep my word. I've let y'all down and for that I'm incredibly sorry. The story should officially be finished soon and this time I mean that. Throughout the next few weeks, I'll be uploading each chapter edited and re-vamped. I'd appreciate it if y'all would read it as if you're reading it for the first time, since a few of the details like the main's name have been changed. I started writing that story when I was 17, I'm 23 now. I'm at the point where I really want to expand with my writing and my following. 
          
          However, I haven't decided if I should delete the old chapters or if I should just re-publish the edited version. If I delete them, I'd lose the statistics, comments and votes for the chapters, so I'd have to start fresh. If I re-publish, then the old comments and votes will stay there but I don't know if it would confuse future readers or if it would be okay. What do y'all thing I should do?
