Hi everyone! After much deliberation, I’m changing my pen name! From now on, my name is Viana Rose (you can also call my Viana for short). Thanks for continuing to follow me after all this time :) I promise some more Nebula is coming soon, and I might even muster up enough motivation to a) edit Princess of Egypt, b) update Draconian Manual, or C) write enough of Blood of a Nymph that I’ll feel okay posting some. Not more than one of the three though. Thoughts on which one I should do (if I get to it)?

Heyyy everyone!! So I am about to make a dragon care guide! (Obviously, this will be fake, but I think it could be really fun anyway) I’m making a Q&A page and a FAQs page, so spam me with questions you’d want to know about dragon care!! (I’ll be doing this from the perspective of a zoo owner type person) Bye ✌️

@daonlysansan20202009 “While awake, dragons have varying levels of activity. If you have a dragon, it’s important to be observant and watch out for fluctuations in activity level. A dragon may fly, run, swim, dig, and/or playfight constantly, or only for a few hours a day. It’s important to know your dragon. The one constant in dragon activity levels is that they should be playhunting at least two days a week. If they are playhunting for more than 4 days a week, check their diet to make sure they are getting enough protein and enough lipids. If they are not playhunting two or more days a week, make sure no one in your household is feeding the dragon outside of the feeding schedule, or the dragon will become overweight, gaining excess fat as muscles slowly atrophy.

A common complaint among dragon owners is they are overly excited during playfights and may spray, fire, water, or whatever the specific dragon has evolved to spray. This complaint is especially common with young dragons. Researchers and trainers have started multiple studies to determine the causes and solutions. However, a popular home remedy that we have determined harmless is to provide them with approximately 5 grams of frozen saltwater in the mornings. After 15 minutes, take away any surplus to prevent harmful side effects.”

@daonlysansan20202009 “Dragons sleep for approximately 6-7 hours a night, though young dragons may sleep for as many as 15 hours a day. Older dragons also tend to hibernate for longer. While the younges dragons may not hibernate at all and instead stow away in their habitats awake, the oldest of dragons sometimes hibernate for up to 5 years!”

@daonlysansan20202009 Cynthia!! Hiiiiiiii! Okay anyways Zookeeper says “ We’ve developed a high protein plant diet that makes up for most of the protein they get in the wild. Normally, there would be a large, high-in-protein meal every week from their weekly hunt. We unfortunately have much researching to do before we can provide the same nutrition via meat, but we’ve found feeding high-protein plants daily is a satisfactory second-rate diet before we can finish our research and give our dragons the best possible meat.
Each day, we measure out a specific amount of food based on dragon, age and weight, as well as the protein concentration of the plants we’re preparing for it. It’s not as appetizing as their weekly hunt, so we feed them several times as needed until they finish, usually about 5 feedings.”
