Hey, thanks a lot for reading my story and even taking the time to leave a comment, it really means a lot to me. I'm gald you liked it, just the way it was. I often get the feeling with this story that people don't really like the way it ends. They're always like if Sam had loved her she would've fought to be with her, and she could've gotten used to the changes, and stuff like that. But that's really not the point. The point was that Sam was stuck in her old life, just the way you said. I really loved your comment. Thank you.

@DesyreMe Re: Suicide, not that I expected it, but Sam seemed so depressed and hopeless it seemed the story could go that way. BUT, as an obvious trigger most authors would flag it in advance.

The last thing I would want is a character killing herself, but it seemed from the tone of the writing to lead into a self-destructive path. And that was one of the possible outcomes. Not a good one, but somehow fitting.

Well, I myself often read to escape my own life, but I'm not always looking for the happy ending, I'm just looking for a good book to read. If its well written, then I'm happy no matter the outcome.

I was going to mention a few books that don't have happy endings and people keep on reading them and liking them and then I thought you might have not read them yet, and that I might spoil the book for you and for everyone that might read your message board hahahaha

Anyways, you really thought it would end in suicide? I have never viewed it that way, to be honest. That's interesting, in the new perspective kind of way.
