Tristen Alan Baker

My Name is Tristen Baker, and I am but a warrior in this battlefield we know as life. And though life can be just as cruel as a war zone, it can also be like Heaven. It's all about our perspectives on things in our lives that make us think the way we do, and that affects how we think about the privilege and blessing of being able to breath and live.

Growing up I was abused up until I was 14, I am 17 on this date of 4-17-2015 and I have many many scars to show from it in my mind.
Do I wear them and feel bad for myself... NO!, but I'm also not completely proud of it either. I am proud to be successful in my life, as well as being able to make a difference in the lives of others that I've been blessed to meet.

My beloved all love me so much, and I'll be damned if I ever take that for granted, or let it go to waste!

I write mostly free verse poetry, and my main focus is poetry, but I've been getting back into song writing.
