          - A woman who likes to cook, likes to take care of family members (her and her man's) is not a doormat. Yes she should not be enduring any abuse but being helpful and kind doesn't mean she is weak or a push over.
          
          - It's not necessary that women can't be toxic. She can be.
          
          - Men also have to be taken care of. Taking care of your partner is normal be it your woman or man.
          
          I would urge you to read and consume content other than Wattpad. Because that will help you open your horizon and identify patterns and toxicity. Wattpad normalises many things that one, especially women should not endure in their life. Setting unrealistic expectations for yourself is bad but accepting toxicity in name of love is also not acceptable. Don't let someone treat you like their doormat or project. Grooming, manipulating are so common these days, staying in bubble of rose tinted glasses will only harm you.

So I wanted to post this but I really don't know if anyone is interested to read it or not but still want to put it out there so that even one teenage girl reads it and finds it helpful, it will make me feel as if I did something good.
          
          Wattpad, is a good app but you have to pick and choose what to read and what to not. Here are some very problematic plots, themes that I would like to address. This is my perspective and I want to share it.
          
          - Normalising SA. The ML s*xually assaulting FL and that's portrayed as romance. No it's not, it's crime and you should not romanticise it.
          
          - Age gap. Normalising age gap, anything over 6 years is not romantic. The FL acting as a child gives me so much ick. Yes, FL can show her healing child can be childish infront of ML but her acting like a 'child' is not cute. Yes, older men are mature but that is not always the case. In reality, these men can be manipulating to the T. 
          
          - Romantasing emotional and physical abuse. A man hitting you, torturing you, draining you emotionally and then smothering you with romantic gestures is not right. 
          
          - FL being rude in name of being independent woman. A woman can be feminine, respectful, and yet can be independent. She doesn't have to be rude, disrespectful and unnerving to be portrayed as independent.

          My Wattpad journey as a MaNan writer comes to an end today with the last update of Humesha Not Forever. It has been a beautiful journey and I have learnt a lot but now I can't commit to the couple and few personal reasons. I hope I was able to make you smile with my stories. It was pleasure to share fragments of my imaginations with you all.
