As an ex-Christian, here is why I fully believe there is no such thing as god. God can not be scientifically proven, and I fully believe in science because there are rules to science. Something can not be declared unless there's evidence. There's no evidence of god but a few schizophrenics that wrote a book. There is evidence of evolution, multiple pieces of evidence that suggest/prove humans evolved to become knowledgeable sentients. Humans didn't just come from thin air and start making shit. If the Adam and Eve thing is true then everyone should have the same ancestors, but what do you know, we don't. If 7 billion people came from 2 people, everyone would have things like Down syndrome, mental cognitive issues, physical disabilities, and I mean EVERYONE, and most wouldn't even LIVE if we all (7 BILLION ALL) came from 2 people.

@TysonIsGay Also, if gods are all loving, why is there so much war and suffering...

The man who came at night got a major makeover, including a title change Serenades of Second Chances is now the new name. Honestly, I have no clue why I originally named it "The Man Who Came at Night". It made it sound so dark and just not the vibe that I wanted. Honestly while writing it I changed a major part of the plot in order to be more light-hearted. Everything I write is normally very dark and morbid but always has happy endings. I wanted Serenades of Second Chances to be the light-hearted love story I always wished I got, so I changed the plot to be more happy instead of so fucking depressing.

Like all of my other stories, I put a little of myself into my characters, and with Max, I wanted him to have my love for music, and just like him I stopped pursuing music because of family members. Except Max finds the love of his life who pushed him in the right direction, music.

So, The Man Who Came at Night is now officially Serenades of Second Chances!! with a super cute (and not dark) new cover!

My super senior year of high school starts in 11 days, and my birthday is in 14 days. I’m 18 years old in 14 days. I would’ve graduated my senior year of high school at 17 years old if I didn’t have to repeat half a year because of credit recovery. This is crazy to me because I never thought I’d make it to see the age 18, let alone my senior year of high school, so my message is don’t give up. Keep going even when it is tough.
