Hey, all! You may notice something significant missing from my profile. To avoid alarm or worry, here's a little explanation as to why "The Fourth Piper" is unpublished for the time being, if not indefinitely:

Firstly, it's a piece of writing that I feel doesn't encompass my current style and level of skill. This rewrite will be close to unrecognizable, so I feel a little strange about keeping something so different from how I envision it to be, especially while trying to rewrite/edit. I treasure all the love that you have given it over the years, and yes—TFP still has a special spot in my heart! I've been doing a lot of thinking and planning in preparation for a complete rewrite, and there are so many changes that I'm excited about making in the future.

Secondly, for me, it's another step closer to trying to get published. Yes, rewriting and editing is a long way off. But this is a big step in that direction that I feel will push me closer to the end goal of publications. It's early in the game, but I'm hoping that it will motivate me personally to delve back into the story during my winter break.

There are several more reasons, but I'm only listing two for now. If you want to talk about it, that's completely fine by me. I apologize to any silent readers that were in the middle of the piece. I'll still be trying to update my ongoing piece about TFP's main antagonist, Neriphé! Thank you all for understanding where I'm coming from with this decision.

Hi just saw some of your reviews on sunflower group and absolutely loved them. You are so detail in reviewing but I think you are not with them anymore. I would love if you could read a few chapters of book "Let's Plan My Murder" and share some of your thoughts only if you have time of course.

@ShwetaKumari426 Thanks for the compliments on my reviews! I put in a lot of thought and work to them, which is part of the reason I don’t do them anymore. Unfortunately, I still don’t have the time to complete any more reviews for clients. However, I hope that looking at some of my past reviews can help give you some general advice on writing! Best of luck in your endeavors as I continue in my own!

Okay okay so I have been absent for a little while as college started and it's already taking up a lot of my time. BUT I'm still here! Somewhat! I'm halfway through the next chapter of "Little Schiva" and continuing at a quick pace, so look out for that update coming soon. But how has everyone been? Surviving? Dying? Do y'all still have the motivation to get out of bed every day, or are you in the same boat that I'm in? xDDD

Hey, all! "Never Fire" made it into the Open Novella Contest 2020 Longlist this year! I honestly didn't expect this, so I'm excited. Also, if you're wondering about the lack of new material to read on my profile, it's because I've been working hard at editing "The Fourth Piper"! I don't think I plan to upload the edited version on WP since I want to pursue traditional publishing, but that's kind of my little update. In case you're waiting for "Little Schiva" to update, which may not happen in a while, here's "Never Fire" in case you haven't read it already:

Last night, I finish the very last update of "Never Fire", my entry for the Open Novella Contest 2020! Wish me luck as I go into the third round. I'm not very confident on winning anything, but the opportunity has been great and I'm proud of myself for getting the 20k word count milestone. This means that updates for "Little Schiva" can start up again after a long period of being on hold, which I'm super excited for! Here's that last "Never Fire" chapter:

Hey, you were supposed to review my book. I was wondering when could you finish it. Love your website by the way!

You are actually fifth in line for a review right now, so I’m not quite sure when it will be done but likely not for a while. Once I start a review, however, I always inbox the author and keep them posted on my progress throughout the review.
