Honestly, I think instead of taking away their DM feature and their mature policy, Wattpad should just outright state/make the app for 16+.
It's clear that 98 percent of the stories on here are for mature ppl and have mature language and content, so why not just make it an app for mature people and spare themselves the hate they're getting?
But like I've been on wattlad for 8 years and never has this been an issue before.

@SakuraMinx a new fanfic I'm working on. And I like Rachel too, but like I think I'll be using Camilla just cause of the more high school setting role (ie. Riverdale) that she's been in as with Rachel (I haven't aeen West Side Story) I've only seen her in Hunger Games

Update: callback was great, but I had to decline bc registration fee was 320 upfront, followed by 76 dollars a week. I'm a broke college freshman so obviously that wasn't gonna fly.
Bit I'm proud nonetheless in myself for taking a leap

I think I'll be doing the same as some of the authors on here by adding 18+ on my stories and also putting them on another platform besides wattpad in case mine get taken down.
