Hi everyone… I’ve been pretty inactive with exams coming up and also having been in an accident. Whilst it’s been really fun to write for you and read your funny comments, I don’t have the time anymore to do much of anything but study and spend time with friends and family. I still carry a passion for writing and always will (career-wise also). I have been thinking of shifting my page to something less anime-related also, as my interests kind of died down after being into anime for almost all of my life and growing up on classics like Initial D, Sailor Moon, and Ghibli. I’ve always had other interests, sure, but I think I’ve been trying too hard to hold on to anime and not show other sides of me.
As of now, I’ve kind of lost the interest in continuing any of the ongoing stories— but I know how upsetting an unfinished story is, so I’ll be sure to finish “Heathens” as it’s nearing its end anyway. Updates will be really slow though. As for the Haku book, I’m sorry to say that I’ll have to discontinue it. I don’t want to deliver bad work. I’d rather not deliver anything at all.
Tldr: My heart isn’t in anime as much as it used to be, and other interests that I pretty much also grew up on have started to kind of invade everything that anime was to me. I will still write and I’m planning on writing a new book (one-shots, as it’s easier and people can request whatever they want. On top of that, they wouldn’t have to wait for a new chapter or something like that.)
I hope everyone understands my decision. I really wish there was something I could do to bring the spark for anime back, but my heart just isn’t in it that much anymore.
On the positive side, I grew up watching sports (football/soccer, F1, Tennis etc.) as well as horror and action movies, and I do have some ideas for like a one shot book thing— should that become interesting. There’s a high chance I’m moving to Ao3 and Tumblr only, so don’t forget to follow me there!
