British through and through. No, I don't live in London. No, I don't have afternoon tea. No, I don't love tea. I actually hate it. And I have certainly not met the queen. Nor do I sound like her, nor do I have a cockney accent.

I have 3 dogs, two labradoodles and a cockapoo. The labradoodles are brother and sister. The boy's name is Jasper, and he and his sister (Lucy) are both eight years old. The cockapoo is a girl, and her name is Pumpkin. She is five. I also have to cats (both girls) called Nibbles and Jinx. I love all my pets dearly, possibly more than any of my friends.

I recently lost a dog named Bess, she was three years old. She came from Romania, and she was fear reactive. My heart goes out to anyone going through anything similar. Losing a pet is always hard.

I mainly read (and write) fantasy and magical realism. These genres have always been my favourites, they let me detach from reality in a way you simply can't with contemporary novels. Good fantasy novels enchant me, and I want to enchant my readers too.

My favourite books are:

-They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
-The Hunger Games by Susanne Collins

Obviously I have enjoyed more books than just these three (I am currently reading the Warriors series, for instance), but these are my favourites.
