Hey guys, so I probably should've said hello and then explained how I got into writing for my first announcement but I'm new to this.
So, I'm going to do that now; I got into writing about 3 years ago and ironically it all started with a short story competition. Now the competition was a very small one but I'm competitive so I entered the competition. There was only one requirement and it had to be a short story within a certain amount of words. I had no idea what to write so I downloaded an AI-generated app to help me. While it did help to get my creative juices flowing I ended up copying what was little I had and then deleted the app. In reality, the app wasn't much use because none of it made much sense. After that, I wrote it myself occasionally asking for help from those around me. After I finished it, I submitted it and after waiting a couple of days I found out that I won! So, that's how I got into writing short stories.
Personally, I don't know how Authors write books because so much detail goes into them; I have major respect for you guys!! I'm going to stick with writing short stories because I can't think of that much detail let alone write it.
