Death is inevitable. We all know that. Everyone lives, then they die. It's the way of life.
At least, that's what most people believe.
I believe in something else. Maybe our time on earth is like what we believe to be our childhood. Our "life" gives time for our souls to grow, to be nurtured. Once the soul figures out where it's supposed to go, it frees itself. That is what we call death. This explains why people die at different ages. Souls grow up at different rates. The people who die before they are born have been decided by the afterlife not to continue.
Some souls become corrupted, not quite ever growing up. They are doomed to walk the earth forever. Some decide to make peace with this, but some fight their fate. They try to cause harm, to corrupt other souls. This is what we call "evil spirits."
No human soul knows what awaits after "death." There are many theories, but no passed souls have communicated with the earthen souls. Or maybe they have. Maybe schizophrenic "visions" are really images of one Path in the afterlife. Maybe the voices the "Mentally ill" hear are really these passed souls communicating to them.
All of this is plausible. Most of it is true. How could someone think that this short, sad life is it? It's cruel and close minded, to believe that this is it.

"While life is a beautiful lie, Death is a painful truth."
