I’m really confused about the hole 2 book of daddy’s obsession

@justinburito In the first book, Mae Estacado, did unfortunately die. In the second book, Mae O'Rork is an entirely different person. However, she happened to inherit her dead auntie's appearance (Mae Estacado), which is why Kyle (who was and is still obsessed with Mae Estacado), and because of that, he truly believes she is still alive (He is chaotically crazy) and thinks Mae O'Rork is Mae Estacado because they look identical. Later in the book, it is revealed that Mae O'Rork happens to be reincarnated of Estacado, which explains her dreams and visions.

@TheSensualSinner in the first book I though that she died right? But why isn’t he confused that she’s alive? I’m so confused did I not read the book right
