It was my comfort book

I have decided to retire my fanfictions that I wrote when I was in high school over a decade ago. If you came looking for it, I’m sorry you missed it and sorry to disappoint! If you’d like to know why you can always shoot me an message and I’ll answer it privately. 
          
          Thank you for your support and the time you took to read all of it! I truly do appreciate it and will forever be flattered that people still remember it.

So, as most of you may know, I used to write the fan fiction: "New York." I wrote it about 5 years ago when I was in high school. 
          
          I recently went through it because a friend from work wanted to read it and I thought it could use some edits. I originally went back to check grammar and take out little cringe-y bits here and there but I didn’t realize how truly appalling some of it was. 
          
          I was in high school so I wasn’t very enlightened. I didn’t realize what being “PC” was and there were a lot of things in this story that I would never write today and am not proud of. So, I apologize for those things if they ever offended anyone. 
          
          I went back and redid the whole thing. By that I just mean I took out the parts I didn’t like (usually just sentences or words here and there) and rewrote them to be more mature and hopefully funnier. 
          
          So, although this is the same story you know and love there are some new elements to it. You can choose to re-read it and find those new bits, or not but I just wanted to let you all know that it has been changed for the better. 
          
          I haven’t yet started working on the sequel, “The Journals” but will be soon. I wrote that one in college, so hopefully it’s less work :)
