Hello, I am notoriously lazy and tend to do fanfiction more than original work because of specific quirks/characters/environments of the world I'm working within that are too recognisable to rename and call my own. Only through constant, unending repetition can I  actually divorce/modify those things enough to be considered original. 

on the laziness, writing has not been my priority for a while with all of... (gestures vaguely at USA) this... happening and I don't think that will change much anytime soon. Also i get really into something for weeks/months, then just drop it.
