Hello my readers!
As you will notice, I have just posted something NEW.
I wanted to give you a SNEAK PEEK of the story I've been working on. This project was so VERY different from my usual style and voice and genre. But it's one I am also really proud of. I'm not sure I'll post all of it here (actually I'm sure I won't), sorry about that, but I did want to show you what I've been working on and what I'll be pitching to agents next.
I'm still trying to get published, anyone who has tried knows what a hard industry it is to break into but I'm determined to give it my best shot. I've had a good year with my writing, I have a critique partner who is amazing, and I've learned a lot.
With any luck, I hope someday in the not too distant future you all will get to truly hold my books in your hands!

@TheDowny well its truly worth the wait sis. I know this because I cannot express how thrilled I was to hold Gwen's Cold Summer and to read it for the first time and to wait years hoping she will be able to publish Windswept and to find out it comes out next Fall and to wait patiently...honestly its truly WORTH waiting to read Your books too as well as your sister's.. i personally love your style and hers...you guys have an unusual flair and its interesting to read....so All the very best. I know you will find a good publisher and I hope you know your fans are rooting hard for you. Cheers and Hugs

So I realize I took like a forever long hiatus. I'm not really posting anything new these days nor do I have plans to right now apart from the rest of the chapters of the new version of Essence of Water, which is embarrassingly old but hey, some of you enjoy it and it's good for me to see how far I've come in my writing. And I didn't realize that I never finished posting the rest of the chapters, but it's all there now.
I'm also still trying to get published, I have a great critique partner and I've been revising Mirror's Edge to get it to a place to be sent to agents. I'm also participating in Pitch Wars this year which would be the best thing for me, because a mentor like that could really do a lot of good to my manuscript. So, fingers crossed.
Aside from that, I've been writing and working a lot. Protectors still holds a really special place in my heart and I've not forgotten about the series, I've been toying opening it up and revising it even more again sometime, but not yet. Mirror's Edge has my full attention at the moment, but again, Protectors is not forgotten. High Fantasy will always be my first love with writing.
I also had another new story idea come to my brain a couple of months ago. It's more contemporary with a dash of magic realism thrown in. Totally different and a lot of fun, but again, Mirror's Edge is my focus.
Anyway, that's my update, hope you guys are awesome!

@TheDowny I liked the storyline of the old drafts a little better and enjoyed them both immensely. Plus I was hoping for a third book in the series so rewriting seemed superfluous. Having said that, the story in the new draft moves in a faster pace, an interesting new villain is introduced (Viper), the language has improved, you stopped following Martin's mistake about the relative sizes and locations of the types of wolfs. Perhaps it was worth all your trouble although maybe not benching the Mirrors Edge which I also like a lot even as underdeveloped as it stands for now. Overall, no easy answer. But whatever you do keep on writing, you are good at it and getting better too!
