I don't know who will see this but hey. 
          	
          	I've been working on the updates for 'Badboy in My Backyard' for a little while now and I've really been enjoying seeing its transformation. I'm proud of the story it's starting to become and I hope everyone reading is liking it too. 
          	
          	Personally, I have started to read books far more than I have been able to in years and it honestly has been incredible. 
          	
          	Originally, I wrote 'Badboy in My Backyard' when I was 16. Being in my early 20s now, it does feel a little odd to be writing a story about teenagers or young adults. 
          	
          	Since this realisation has dawned on me, I have been beginning to find excitement in the prospect of writing a book surrounding people who are closer to my age. So that's what I'll be doing. 
          	
          	This announcement is by no means asking you to read this new story (I believe what we choose to read is so personal and shouldn't be pushed onto us) but rather to update you on why updates have slowed down a little. 
          	
          	I will absolutely still continue my work on my current book but I will be taking on an additional task that may delay this work a little. I appreciate every single person who reads my work, it honestly brings me joy like nothing else. 
          	
          	I hope your reading and the journeys you go on while doing so continue to make you happy.
