Terrie McClay

Terrie and her husband moved to the Eastern shore of Maryland in 1977 where they own and manage a 14 acre farm with a menagerie  of critters, including an American Bison, Morgan horses, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Miniature Zebus, potbelly pigs, an alpaca, rheas, and a variety of pheasants, peacocks, ducks, geese, and chickens.

For the past twenty years, Terrie has worked as an Equine Mid-Wife at a local Thoroughbred farm during the foaling season.

All three of Terrie's novels came to her through a series of dreams. After several years of research, and numerous trips to Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas, she self-published her first novel, Wind in the Grasses Dancing, which has  been picked up by Word Branch Publishing and is scheduled for release on May 22, 2015. Her second, Whispers from the South, followed two years later.  Her third novel, 4Ever-In- MyHeart, was published by Word Branch Publishing in September of 2014, and is available trough their webpage, and through Amazon. 

Terrie is currently working on My Irish Sweetheart - Love Letters from 1928, which she hopes to make available during the summer of 2015.
