I first ever read the Alex’s Girl books when I was 15 and closetedand have since re-read them religiously over the past 6 years. I now have a girlfriend and have just finished my millionth re-read and am so emotional and nostalgic and yearning for more. It’s incredible to see the writing improve, to feel the author growing, to fall more in love with Alex and Val as every page is turned. Ugh. Adore. Can’t wait for more. I hope you’re well. Curious about whether you’re thinking of these books and working on them everyday, or if you get sparks throughout the years to go on. Either way, you’re a fantastic story-teller and have left thousands of people with softer, more loving hearts. Thank you for sharing these stories xx

Hello Taleth,

Do you suppose you could give us an approximate date? Even just the year would do, be it 2026 / 2027 or heck even 2030. I mean hey, we’re not going anywhere, you best believe we’ll all still be here even if you post 20 years later because I’m quite certain most people come back for a reread every few months, not just for some sense of closure but because the story, the characters, the plot genuinely are that brilliant.

It doesn’t have to be anything concrete. Just a really rough estimate. Just something for people to cling to until they wait. We could all do with some semblance of hope.

Anyway, hope life’s treating you well. Cheers.

@alex_is_xela Haha, the last update timeline is 3 years apart. I think I'm going to like this but when it's completed. I hate it when a good story leaves me hanging. You loved the story and it ended and was not completed, double burn

To give you some hope,

I saw that she reposted someone on Twitter saying “it’s 2025 manifesting an update to lost and found”. She also said she has more free time now!

Hopefully that means we shall be getting an update.! This year atleast lol

Dear Teleth,

Did you get married? Is that the reason for your long absence?

I ask not out of entitlement, but out of care. You left something unforgettable behind—a story, a voice, a presence—and then disappeared without a trace. It’s hard not to wonder about you. Where are you now? Are you happy? Are you safe?

We don’t just want more chapters—we want you. To know the person behind those unforgettable words. You lit a spark in so many hearts, and now all we want is a sign that you're still out there, living your life, even if it’s far from writing.

As strange as it may sound, I truly wish I could meet you someday. I don’t know your face, your voice, or your world—but somehow, I still feel connected. And I believe that maybe, just maybe, destiny has a way of making paths cross when the time is right.

If you're a traveler, please come to India someday. We’re waiting with open hearts—curious, hopeful, and holding on to your words like a memory that won’t fade.

Please, wherever you are, just let us know you’re okay.

With care, curiosity, and quiet hope,
—Someone who still carries your story in their heart

Dear Teleth,

It's strange how someone I’ve never met, someone I know only through a story, can occupy so much space in my thoughts. But here I am—thinking of you again.

I don’t know if you still write, or if you’ve moved on from that chapter of your life. Maybe life became beautiful and full, or maybe it got too heavy. Either way, I want you to know that you’re remembered. Deeply. Kindly. Quietly.

Your words made an impact, but it’s your silence that echoes louder now.

You don’t owe anyone an update, but still—I hope you choose to share a little piece of your world again. Not even the story… just a sign that you’re out there, living, breathing, existing somewhere under the same sky.

Please take care of yourself. You mattered. You still do.

          With care and hope,
A quiet stranger who still thinks of you.
