Well…I came, I participated, I enjoyed myself. But I think my time here at Wattcon is coming to a close. I attended 3 or 4 panels and learned a little something and I’m satisfied. I won’t be at The Wattys events, so you won’t see me there. I hope I was able to meet a few of you. ❤️

Soooooo i just entered my story into the Wattys….and I very much plan on being at Wattcon btw
Well ladies and gents....I’m realizing now that My Man is A Lady unfortunately did not make it into the shortlist for The Wattys. In other words, the shortlist is the list of stories that the judges deemed worthy of being in the running to win their category in The Wattys. And my story was not in that last.
Am I disappointed? Absolutely I am. I’ve been trying for 3 years to actually make it into the running after feeling so great about it and then falling short...it doesn’t feel great. But I know I did my best. I will tell you one thing, they’re gonna see me next year, that’s for sure. Even Lauryn Hill was booed at the Apollo!
Until then, I invite you to check out my other stories if you’re not into girlxgirl, I’ve been working on them and editing!
It’s ok. Next year they will see what they missed out on . I will be continuing to read your other stories. Keep up the great writing and don’t let this deter you .
So lately I’ve been seeing My Man Is A Lady get a whole lot of love lately. A lot of adds to your reading lists, a lot of votes. And I just wanna say THANK YOU and I’m so glad you all love the story that much!
My Man started out as a project molded from frustration in about 2016; frustration with life, love, everything. Basically things weren’t going so great. I hopped on here, begin using my imagination as an outlet and the rest is history! I never in a million years expected to get THIS MUCH love on the story! Heck, I didn’t even care if I got one single comment or vote, I was just creating.
And look where it’s got me....thank you.
@TajBabii711. Congratulations! I read the description of your book, honestly it's good, yes, but unfortunately not for me. Through I like the plot, hopefully you'll write more about books that contain so much work and love that you put into. It's showing.

Okay, so I'm just going to communicate with you guys through here instead, so i can have my story polished for the Watty's, meaning no more Author's Notes at the bottom of each chapter, i have to get rid of them. We can talk here. Tell me what yall think about the new chapter, it's a lil spicy...well, a LOT spicy haha
