OKAYY there’s so many changes to Camellia like a LOTTT so feel free to revisit some chapters cus tbh at first i didn’t have a solid vibe or theme I wanted in the story but now i have a clear vision in mind of the story and the trajectory i want it to go. i also updated the synopsis cus i wanted to add sum flavor to it lmao. also dw, chapter six is still in the works it’s just taking a while cus it’s a BIGGG chapter (it’s passed 6k almost 7k already and not even close to being finished </3)
ANOTHER THING, the warnings of the story are updated so check it out (the story is cross-posted on ao3, and there’s even MORE tags on there, i highly suggest that you check it out there) Anyways ima stop yapping now, here’s the updated synopsis! :
Camellia Japonica
A flower that blooms in the hush of dreary winters and early primrose springs. A sweet symbol of longing, of devoted love so pure it wilts before it's allowed to flourish. They come and grow in all different forms: red, white, pink— a seraphic treasure of grace and purity.
But in Musutafu, Japan, a city that's rotting from the inside out, nothing stays innocent for long. Especially not when Aizawa Shouta, buried in the sins of a bloodstained syndicate, finds himself drawn to something more terrifying than severed joints and rotting corpses.
Kindness.
Now, this isn't the cliché everyone knows all-too-well about: the dark, cocky, mafia prince and the soft, naïve girl who thinks she can fix him. No, instead, it's of a man who knows he's undeserving of tenderness, and yet, can't stop chasing it.
And before he knows it, there's a love that shouldn't bloom— but does.
However, love from men like him comes at a cost. And when a war stirs in the underworld, it won't be his name on a ransom note.
It'll be yours.
Or: In which Aizawa, leader is a Yakuza organization, piques an interest in an innocent—yet not so innocent—erotica-obsessed librarian.
