Hello! I am a 13 year old student trying to publish a book, Demon Tales, in high school. I made this profile to introduce my book to the audience early and to create an existing platform for it.

Five-hundred-thousand words is my goal for my book. I am currently about 12,350 words in, or 2.47%. I want to publish this book before senior year.

However, my main concern is about the length itself. I was told that publishers get nervous when a book peaks 90,000 words, especially for new writers. My book... is definitely going exceptionally above that capstone. And I DEFINITELY do not want to split it into volumes, so here I am trying to make myself known!

The short stories featured on this account are not in the main part of my book, but the act as side stories, flash fiction, that would have never been touched otherwise. Hence, I am calling this collection, "The Prologue." On the nose? Perhaps... but it fits.
