@SumireInuzuka im really sure its canon and its gonna happen in the manga too. the problem is we wont know what will happen for a while. since season 5 is over and the manga takes months to publish this many chapters that were animated in the last episode, we're most likely going to have to wait half a year or more to know what happens after this. honestly its getting tiring. 12-13 years of bsd yet its becoming really bad, and its horribly written lately. i dont know why people say its well written, the characters are boring, theres too much of them, their personalities are plain, people only read/watch it for the gay ships, the fandom is toxic and theres literal wars going on between them, i dont know what happened to bsd. i was hyperfixated on it for two years, but i think its over
