Hello @SuchASillyDitto,

Thanks so much for reading Flickered Grace, voting on each chapter, and leaving such kind feedback. I truly appreciate the time and support you've given—it means more than I can say.

Lately, I’ve been reconsidering my decision to quit the story. I’m not sure if it was the right call. Since you've been so consistent and supportive, I’d really value your honest opinion—how did the story feel to you overall? Was it still worth continuing?

I'd be grateful for your thoughts.

          Thanks again :)

Hi @Briyaka

No problem, I really enjoyed the story, especially the sweet moments between Ash and Serena.

As for my opinion, I overall really liked the story, one of the best bits was just the character development in general; compared to the amount of books I've read here on Wattpad there isn't too many stories similar where there is proper character progression. I do understand what you mean about the plot being slower than you wanted in general, I think (thought I'm definitely not against it) you focused a lot more on the characters than the storyline itself so it would be ideal to add more to the plot development alongside the characters.

I think that I and others will certainly enjoy a continuation, but if you don't like how the story was going then there's no need to continue; at the end of the day its your choice on what to do, if you change your mind and carry on with the story then go for it. An idea however, is that you could always revamp the story if you don't want to fully quit it, and just work on fixing the areas you disliked.

Extra idea/advice for the future: if you really want a lot more stakes and tension with the plot then don't be too afraid to kill off some characters. As much as I despise it when a good character dies, it does bring more emotion to it and makes the story nicer to read.

Anyway, I'll still be looking forward to reading more of your work in the future.

            Parz .-.
