Gracie Williams

I have been writing for several years. Probably since I was around nine. I've always had a love of romance and historical settings like Ireland, Scotland and England before the 1600 year mark. The gowns, the intrigue, the utter pageantry. It's always been my thing. I enjoy writing in a historical perspective, typically keeping it third person and my interests outside writing border on the artistic with drawing and play-by-post role playing. I enjoy using dark themes and strong character development in order to get the job done. I also write poetry but I'm no Emily Dickinson. 

I tend to listen to older music. Classical composers like Tchaikovsky, Hayden, Beethoven, Mozart and Bach are all great. Older country music by George Jones, Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Conway Twitty are a big plus. As are Motown bigs like The Temptations and Diana Ross and the Supremes. Old rock and roll and the eighties hair bands also strike a chord. Some modern artists I enjoy are Ed Sheeran, Metric and Adele. 

Television shows are a weakness for me. Especially on premium channels. I am a fan girl of Copper on BBC (America/Canada), Shameless on ShowTime as well as The Borgias. And of course I absolutely love Game of Thrones, having started reading the books in '06 and just continuing with them. 

My favorite movies of all time are Gone With the Wind, Wind that Shakes the Barley, Elizabeth, and PS I Love You. Miniseries like BBC's The Buccaneers and Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth Version) are also great classics for me to enjoy. 

I hope to use Wattpad to full advantage and would appreciate feedback on what I post in order to create a novel you all might enjoy.
