Did you guys get  "tourist-speak" lessons in school? Because I, an innocent Amsterdammer, had them. 
          Amsterdam has so many tourists that the locals have to learn how they speak just so we can give directions.
          We pronounce it as "grachtengordel"
          They pronounce each letter individually as if it were English and not Dutch so we can't understand shit.
          So we legit had to have lessons.
          Please tell me that Amsterdam isn't the only city to suffer from this.

The first week of school is almost over. I got to teach this girl in the year above me some Dutch and I love it. She's nice and I'm trying to be a good teacher. PM/DM me if you wanna learn Dutch or wanna learn some swear words.

I got school now. I hate it here. Also, I started learning Swedish and Danish. It's cool.

Guess who got 4 hours of sleep last night. Again. That's right. Me! It is currently 30C/85F in my country and it fucking sucks.

@Dxtchie Danish is a cool language. I understand the grammar quite well and can kinda translate it since Dutch and Danish are both Germanic languages. My first sentence that I could pronounce properly was
