          Because the urge to text you wouldn’t  go away

          I would lie 
          we were never that serious anyway 
          Or reading old text messages or contemplating what went wrong 
          I had to block your number 
          because I liked you all along 
          I had a rude kind of a awakening about it 
          I learned I’m not very good at letting go 
          I had to block  you number not knowing what to get you because you ignored me as I wondered  what went wrong 
          I must have expressed to you at some point these emotions most would find me lost in trying to express my love for you  but if I was a car ride karaoke, you always had your radio on mute 
          But I was lonely then and needed a shoulder to cry on 
          And some how you were there, just trying to find some other person so I can put my weight on.
