Hello, my lovely The Establishment readers!
I have something to announce, so please take a moment to read through this. It affects how the story will continue, and I would really love for you all to be involved!
✧ TWO VERSIONS OF THE STORY ✧
Starting from Chapter 4, there will be two versions of each chapter for you to read!
One version follows a darker telling of the story, while the other takes a lighter approach. The winning version does share some of the same events to the other, but they have different atmospheres, different developments, and even different endings. Essentially, they are two different ways the story could unfold.
The lighter version will be marked (V.B) in the chapter title. This stands for Version B. The other version is the darker telling.
Now, I have a suspicion that most of you will prefer Version B, but I could be completely wrong! And that is exactly why I'm doing this.
I will be adding a special voting chapter where you can vote for the version you prefer. Please, please read both versions before voting! I want you to choose the one you genuinely enjoy more, rather than simply choosing based on the description.
At the end of the month, I will check which version has won the vote. The winning version will determine the overall vibe and direction I take with the story going forward. The losing version, unfortunately, will have its chapters deleted.
So, if you have a favourite, make sure your vote counts! I want this story to become something we can all enjoy, and I think it will be interesting to see which direction you choose.
