Ive been writing as a personal imperative for many years, and as you'd expect, my writing style and genre preferences have evolved and developed nuance over time. I began with emotionally and psically immersive short character pieces, surrealist shorts and poems, now I am confident writing fiction with lived-in characters and fully realised worlds. This isn't the only place I write, but it's where I hit upon the real joy I get from writing. Currently cutting my teeth on script writing and storytelling through the different media of film and loving it. 
I will not hold my reader's hands, I won't flinch away from life's static, and neither do my characters. I want to write things that give hope to people who feel dissilusioned by current representation of queer, trans or neurodivergent people. I want to tell stories about humans who care, who try and who show up even when it's hard. I want to write nuanced humans who face and grow from the real consequences of their choices. Everyone has their 'stuff' and that's fine. Perfection doesn't exist.
