@_EchoWasTaken_ I'm not an experienced author at all, but in my opinion, starting the story with an intriguing event- but don't get into the action right away! Perhaps a steady build up to the main event; like a song with a good beatdrop! I'm not sure if this makes much sense, but I hope it helps.
