@Skywalker15 I'm pretty young to feel upset that I'm single, but my dream is to get married and raise a family of believers, and a lot of times I have to remind myself that I have plenty of time, and that God knows my dreams, and is the one who has the power to make them for me, so I don't have to worry about making them on my own. God is also capable of replacing those dreams and wants for a much better purpose! <3

You don’t know how much I needed this. As an American woman who’s in college and sees all her friends and people she graduated with getting married and engaged it’s a struggle. It’s nice to know I’m not alone though. Thanks so much for posting this!

Hi friend!

Do you ever find it hard to read your Bible and/or difficult to want to spend time with Jesus?

If you do, you’re not alone! I feel that way a lot, especially in my current season of life.

Hi friends!

Have you ever wondering if spiritual revival really happens??

After the Asbury revival this past spring (and other events like it) did you wonder…can that be real??

Well, I am here to testify that the Holy Spirit is real and He is at work bringing revival to the people of this world! I witnessed His work as a camp counselor this summer and you can read all about it here:

          https://eternallyplanted.wordpress.com/2023/10/26/is-holy-spirit-revival-real/

“Spiritual revival is really truly happening in our world today! It may not seem like it with the horrors that are happening all around us, but the Holy Spirit is moving just like He moved during the first century among the early Church.” (excerpt from blog post)

          God bless you friend!

@BrookeAlonzo0527 wow! That’s so amazing!! It’s amazing and beautiful how the Holy Spirit uses one revival to jumpstart another! A revival like that happened at my college after the Asbury one. It kept going even when the power went out all across campus!
Do you go to a Christian school or public school?

We actually had a similar experience to the Asbury Revival happen at school. My teacher was showing us videos from the Asbury Revival and I guess the class next door heard the music so the class walked in and their teacher said, “We want to worship with you.” My teacher put on worship music and before you knew it, the whole junior high was in one classroom worshiping the Lord. We did that for about 2 and a half hours. No one wanted to stop. It truly was the Holy Spirit working in all of us.

Hi friends!

          For my Wingfeather Saga friends…

I replenished my Wingfeather Saga chat room book! When I read it I cringe since I wrote it in junior high (like 9 or 10 years ago—how am I that old???!!), which is why I unpublished it. Now I’m reposting it for those of you who may still be in the early teenage stage because you’ll probably enjoy it! It also includes a couple of poems that I wrote inspired by the series (one about Oskar and another about sea dragons! mysterious!). So I hope you all enjoy reading my cringy Wingfeather writings!!

New blog post is up on Eternally Planted!!

This one is about being a recklessly devoted disciple of Jesus, as displayed by Mary in John 12:1-11 (the story of when she anointed the feet of Jesus).

          https://eternallyplanted.wordpress.com/2023/03/23/recklessly-devoted-john-121-11/

          Excerpt:
“I have one desire now — to live a life of reckless abandon for the Lord, putting all my energy and strength into it.”  - Elizabeth Elliot

“John 12:1-11 is most often interpreted in light of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Yet, there is more to uncover in this passage than simply that.

“What if this story wasn’t just about the one being anointed but also about the one doing the anointing?

“What if it also teaches us how to be a recklessly devoted follower of Jesus?”
