I’m baaaaack! Not gonna lie, even I didn’t see this coming. But after a sudden major life change, I finally have time to focus on my writing. Because I stay changing my mind, I’m back with a new story, White Sand! Andy and Ares are back to grace your lives with their situationship and other shenanigans.
          
          For those who are familiar with my previous work, Bruised and Scarred, this new story is a prequel with a twist. Those who read Bruised and Scarred will catch many references mentioned in White Sand, so please try not to spoil it for new readers :) 
          
          I had planned to drop this story during Black History Month, but I’m too excited to wait that long. So enjoy the first two chapters!

          And listen. I know my consistency with updates suck. BUT did y'all really think I wouldn't drop Andy's book on Juneteenth??? Okay, Juneteenth was technically yesterday (the 19th), but now it's a federal holiday so the celebrations are extended to the 20th (today).  
          
          It took me FOREVER to write the first chapter because my homeboy is such a complex character.  I know he'll give me a hard time with this one. I live....kinda. Still struggling to get myself back to reading, writing, and figure out adulting. I found some motivation to edit a couple chapters of Bruised and Scared. I changed them up quite a bit (added new scenes, changed dialogue, etc). So that's progress, I guess.

          A new chapter of IOTR is on the way...just gotta find the motivation to write it. I don't know...I've been feeling super detached from all my current WIP. I may have to start a different project to cope, which I've already began plotting. Kinda. It will be a retelling of Romeo and Juliet set in ancient Egypt. That's all I know so far.
          
          Anyway, thank you for your patience :) I appreciate each and every one of you who continues to support my work even though I'm a horrible at this updating thing.

I’m alive! We lost a clinician at my job and part of his caseload was transferred to me. *sigh* Whenever I build momentum for writing, the universe always throws something at me! I’m annoyed, universe! Leave me the fuck alone now!

It's been a rough few weeks but what's done is done.  Thank you for your patience. A few updates:
          
          ~ I've started editing/rewriting B&S and will upload the chapters as I go to hold myself accountable. My goal is still to have it done by the end of March. 
          
          ~ IOTR will be updated in a couple weeks (end of February/early March).
          
          ~ I still have high hopes to upload Companion (Andy's book) in April/May.

Quickly popping in here to give some updates! 
          
          1.) I'm gonna be SUPER inactive (shocking, right?) these next few weeks cause I gotta study for my board exam. Meaning, I won't get much time to write or read. 
          
          2.) I'll be taking down Bruised and Scarred this weekend for some major editing changes. I hope to be done sometime in March, so y'all can enjoy the edited version.
          
          3.) Companion (Andy's book) will be pushed back till April-May-ish. 
          
          4.) There will be no update for IOTR until March.
