I really had a good sleep schedule going since January and I screwed it up in a week

This year's April Fool's target was my dad. I moved the driver's seat of his car all the way to the front, turned on his windshield wipers, and put the 24/7 Ariana Grande station on full blast last night. Needless to say, he got quite the surprise when he turned on his car at 2 o'clock in the morning.

My thoughts on POV in ACOTAR AND TOG that no one asked for:

I'm gonna start off by saying that typically, I prefer the first person point of view in fiction, for both a reading and writing experience. It provides more detail and gives more insight to the characters.

However, certain elements are enhanced through the third person of view and cannot be replicated through the first person. Not as well, anyway.

What I primarily mean by this is the difference in how the scheming of Aelin and Feyre are portrayed.

In ACOWAR, we readers got to watch as Feyre's plan to tear apart the Spring Court unfolded. Because the story was told in the first person pov, we had access to her every thought and watched as she lay the foundation down for Tamlin's ultimate downfall and as she improvised.

In the TOG series, however, we had a third person pov. This worked out well because the removed narration kept Aelin's overall plans a secret from us readers and kept us as out of the loop as Rowan, Chaol, and any other character who damn near had a heart attack because of her. I think it added more to the experience and made her cleverness shine.

That being said, I applaud for SJM for this depth.
