Vicious (a duology about two friends who tried getting superpowers, but then something went wrong and one of them ended up in prison but then he gets out and now they hate each other, and they're both sociopaths and morally grey)
If we were villains (a book about theatre students obsessed with Shakespeare and then one of them dies. kind of a whodunnit)
The seven husbands of evelyn hugo (the life story of evelyn hugo and you find out who her true love is and what she had to do to get this famous)
The song of Achilles (a retelling of the Iliad but then gay and in Patroclus' POV. definitely for people who enjoy feeling sad:))
The poppy war trilogy (female rage and gods. do I need to say more?)
