Hey Shortstorians,

A tagline is a short phrase that is intended to convey a story's theme and spirit. Very prompt-like if you ask us. So we present to you some famous movie taglines that we hope will rouse you and your next project. And if you want to comment which movies the taglines are from, be our guest.

"The Happiest Sound in All the World."

"They're young, they're in love, and they kill people."

"The story of a man who was too proud to run."

"The nearer they get to the treasure the farther they get from the law."

          "Who you gonna call?"

"The true story of a real fake."

"Even a hitman deserves a second shot."

          "Work sucks."

"He may be dead but he's the life of the party."

"If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards."

          "Nice Planet. We'll take it"

          "Don't get mad. Get everything."

          Happy Writing.

Cold steel, an unforgiving surface, is my bed. Cold air envelopes me, but I feel no chill. It could be that the warmth of her sympathetic smile is enough to negate it. Or, it could be that I can no longer feel. “So young…” she whispers, her words trailing as she looks away to continue her prep work. She sprays me down with care. Her touch is respectful, and as she reaches to close my eyes, I’m thankful that her face was the last I saw in this sterile, unfamiliar place. I trust her with what is left of me.

“What is this place?” I muttered, looking down, still feeling like I was stuck in a dream. Caught in a limbo between truth and lie, I could not accept my reality. It was dreadful to face; the cold winds chilled me from the outside, even the sunlight coming from the open window could not diminish the oppressive aura of that vast, sterile space that stretched on like a never-ending plain. “How did I get here?” I wondered, seeming to have forgotten everything that happened the day before. I refused to think about it, severely terror-struck. Then, suddenly, the guards came.

I woke up in a room I didn't recognise. The bedsheets were covered in unicorns, definitely not my usual choice. Panic set in. Had I time-travelled? Was I in a parallel Sumaiya universe? Suddenly, my wife, Sumaiya Shaikh, burst in clutching my phone, shaking her head. “Rizwan, you’re in our daughter’s playroom. You tried building a pillow fort, declaring yourself "King of Naps", and challenged the teddy bears to a snoring contest.” She snapped a picture for evidence. I tried to protest, but tripped on a tutu. Sumaiya's laughter echoed. Another day, another page in my marital legend.

"Something snapped in me. 'Because she's not real! None of you are real!'

For a moment the conversation stopped. The guys looked down at the table, expressionless, as they did normal, idle-time things with their hands like smoking or shuffling the cards. Vic swirled his drink in his glass, studying its depths."
