If you're wondering where I've gone, You can find me in the dead of the night on Google Docs writing a book about a reborn villain. (+ Also planning, or daydreaming bcz my brain is my personal movie theatre, outlining the Villlain x loyal assistant book)

The bloodthirsty urge to write a Villain x Loyal Assistant book is scaring me.

ACuriousStoryteller

@ShaerriSagacious Exactly! Even the badly written ones featuring villains or comedy's featuring a villain protagonist have a more interesting protag then the "I'm a good guy, look at my good guy-ness"

@ACuriousStoryteller Yes! I'd loveeee to see their perspective of things, why they think what they're doing, or have done, is right when it collides with the morals of the majority of people. It's always refreshing from the Mary Sue protagonists

@ShaerriSagacious I've seen it from a straight comic-not the best writing, but it knew the writing was goofy so it leaned into that. I'd like more of it tho- especially diving into Villain's morals, which is always fun!

There's just something about ACTUAL books, not just e-books or online books. The ones you can feel, touch and read, like really.
Unlike online books, actual, paperback books make me curious. I can't stop reading. It's like someone pulled a string from head and tied it to the words. They keep dancing around in my memories longer than any online books can.

@aanneeuh that's so nice! Although I, albeit procrastinating, finished two of the MXTX trinity lol. I watched the mdzs live series and dounghua version
[only some I gave up halfway through], knew the lore bcz SPOILERS and I now do not have the energy and mood to read mdzs.
I set it as my personal goal to read MDZS nonetheless. (*μ_μ)♪

There are two types of readers:

Type 1: "Awww, take your time author. We'll wait even if it takes a million years...."

And then there's this mf [myself included]

           Type 2: "Chrissy, wake up!
          I don't like this
          Chrissy, wake up!
          Hey, hello?
Time to wake up, time to wake up
Can you hear me, wake up Chrissy?
I don't like this, Chrissy, wake up!"
