Happy New Year!

CapableClient87

A Trove writer? Well well, it's good to see the game getting love. I'm glad I'm not the only one that made a story.

Though, I harnessed the lore and have created a different tale. A different take on events.

Anyway, perhaps there will be more? Would be interesting.

@SeptemberSkyKnees Go ahead and message me if you want, I would love to discuss lore ideas and a lot of things that I've had in my mind that I would love to share, and, perhaps I can give you an idea for a tale in the future?

@CapableClient87 There may be! It's mostly a book for RP purposes, but I can write more! What would you like more lore on? :0
I'm honestly super sad that the Trove RP book is inactive/never received any love. Trove lore is kinda underrated.

My parents are no longer buying medicine for me for my depression and ADHD because "they aren't natural" and "ADHD isn't a disability." They keep saying "if you want to get some, buy them yourself. You're 18."
Problem is, I'm still at school, focusing on getting good grades for my senior year. In order to afford my medicine, I need to have a job at the same time that I'll need to work on school days. Which is when I also need to do my homework, as I need extra time due to the ADHD. And not to mention, the drive is 2 hours away to pick up the medicine too. They never taught me how to drive.
When I said the situation was impossible, dad said "I know. We're making it impossible. You shouldn't be relying on drugs. You're not disabled. ADHD isn't a disability."
This lowkey feels illegal by now, they've stopped buying me the medicine keeping me from wanting to kill myself, and now they're taking my medicine that allows me to concentrate in class. Both for the same reasons. "They're unnatural and hard to get anyway."
They started the treatment suppression when I was 17, if that may help... But I'm 18 now, still babied, and I don't know how to handle this situation.

When we got to the end of the game, he, again, didn't even bat an eye at it. He just complained about how hard it was to see with the lasers. And literally the SECOND the game finished, he went back to playing War Thunder. When I told him about the additional bonus bosses, he just went "wow!" And didn't say anything else.

Then, once my sister got home, she started complaining that "I didn't clean the kitchen as good as I normally did." And for that, she pulled out her "r*tard card" and hurled said slur at me like it was nothing.
She doesn't believe that it's a slur, nor does she believe ADHD counts as neurodivergency.
The worst part of this was that she KNEW how bad it hurt, slur or not, because I TOLD her in the past. I was bullied RELENTLESSLY in America with that word, living in the south and such and therefore living with "those people." You know the ones.

So, today just resulted with $20 down the drain for a game that will never be touched again by my family, and an argument that resulted in slurs being handed out like candy.
