Sazzafraz

Hi there! I guess the #1 thing you should know about me is that I never know what to say on these profile-things. I mean, if someone shoved a recorder in your face and told you to give them the essence of who you are  in thirty seconds or less, would you know what to say?
     Me neither. But anyway, moving on.
       I am a proud Canadian/Texan/Quebecer. I've been writing since before I can remember, back when I was convinced that my garden was inhabited by fairies and that my pet unicorn soulmate would someday come to find me. I love art, too, although I only really started that so that I could illustrate my stories. My first real passion for books started heavy on the fantasy genre, and although I've branched out a lot since then, I still have a weakness for fiction and surreal writing. I write whatever I feel like reading and rarely finish anything, although I've promised myself I won't publish anything here that's incomplete.
     Outside of writing and art, I love the outdoors (think hiking, canoe trips, etc.) and am enthusiastically terrible at Ultimate Frisbee. Some of my other passions include travel, chocolate, and environmental justice.
     And I'm nowhere near as boring as I sound. Pinky promise ;).
