In this world full of people who have goals and dreams to achieve, I sometimes feel so lost. It's a very overwhelming feeling when you know ehat you to be in the future and it's the complete opposite for me. Career decision is one of the most difficult thing for people who don't have dreams and it slowly frustrates us to a level where we can't take it anymore and feel like quitting. We can't even ask for help or advices from our seniors because they simply can't help us choose our careers when we ourselves are in incertitude. The struggle of sitting in a room with people who are conversing about what they want to be or what they like can't be put into words. People think it's absurd when we tell them we don't know what our aim in life is, that we don't know our heart. We just let life be as it is and just go with the flow, we study whatever the people around us are studying so it makes us feel dead inside when we come across a person whose eyes are always sparkling, full of passion and goals, and whose mouth always speaks of the future.
Surely, the future is full of uncertainties, but wouldn't it be nice to at least be certain about what your heart desires?

@Saranghaeexojunmyeon I understand how you feel... for the longest time I didn't have any idea what I wanted to do with my life. When everyone else that surrounds you have so many big goals and dreams, it makes you feel worthless when you don't have one yourself :( Even now, though I have a slight idea of what I want to do in the future, my dream is significantly smaller than most people's, so I still feel like maybe I'm not doing enough.

But all I can say is that it is perfectly alright not to have a clear idea of what you want to do in the future. I think you will know what you want with time. Until then, ig you could try new things? That way you might figure out that there's something you love doing. Take things at your own pace, and don't let anyone force you into making a wrong choice. After all, it is your life, and you have the right to live it the way you want. So fighting unnie!! Lots of love <33

@Saranghaeexojunmyeon I'm older and a mom so let me just say this u will be able to choose something when it's time . If u haven't found anything yet it's because nothing has stood out to you that u would love to do and spend time doing . Yes some people know what they want but some are also being forced to do it from parents or because their friends are . I bet u 90 percent of them will quit and not complete it . So don't put urself down your doing great look after your mental health first and stop worrying about others and in time something will show up ❤️

@Saranghaeexojunmyeon You know what, I think it's one of the backward things about school. They ask people to make decisions about the career they want to have not realizing that the students are youth who are yet to explore the world and life. Who are we to know what we really want to become at such a young age? Trust me, even the people who are so sure of what they want to become that it comes easy for them to choose a course to take in university—even them changes their heart at a certain time later in their life. And even them don't land on the jobs they dreamed of having when they decided on their courses. That is the reality. After university, you throw these young people out there, and they become all sorts of things, sometimes far from what they imagined to be when they were young. So don't worry :) It is totally fine not to know what your goals are and what you want to be at this moment :) Nobody can determine that for you but you anyway. But I understand going to school means facing that pressure. So with that, the only advice I can give, since it's hard to tell at this time what you want to be, is to take a course that is futureproof. That means something that is technology related. Study IT or something like that. Because the world is only going forward and tech related jobs will never go out of style. It will always be needed. Later in life, when you have decided what you want, then you can surely go for that. To be honest, that's what happens to most adults. That is why, majority of people don't end up with the jobs they studied for. :) It is totally fine.

Wattpad is so dead nowadays, everyone is inactive and busy with their lives. I miss how we all used to be active almost all day in the pandemic. We all wished for the lockdown to be over quickly but only now can we realise how important that break was for all of us.

itz_moorie

@Saranghaeexojunmyeon I hope you figure out everything well! It can be perplexing to make such big decisions, but believe me, most of the adults don't know what they're doing or why they're doing whatever they are doing. (This sentence sounds so weird)
Well, best of luck with everything!

And about Wattpad, you're right! It was so great when we were on the break. Everyone kept writing great stuff, but now we don't see many new things.

And I've sort of gotten used to this cold, emptiness that is within me now,
But I, too, long for the same familiar warmth and the music of laughters that used to surround me sometimes.
Loneliness has filled me to the brim,
Yet, would it be too cruel of me to ask for all the things I've taken for granted to come back?

I just really feel like unpublishing my cringy book "Unconditional Love", god I just hate it so much and I don't understand why people are even reading it! It makes me ao embarassed because it's really bad! I wrote it as an amateur and had zero experience or idea of how to start or finish a story, it had so many plotholes. Nothing makes sense. I am so close to umpublishing it but I don't know what is holding me back.

@loeysjagi I was just thinking of unpublishing it and then editing it and publishing again. As I don't even have much time to edit it now and people are still reading it, I feel very embarrassed.

Yesterday, 25.02.2020, was the 2nd year anniversary of my book "Opposite Ways" and I noticed that it reached 25k reads! And I published this book on the 25th of Feb, what a coincidence! Anyways, I would like to thank all my readers, both old and new. I wouldn't even have continued this book if it weren't for your encouraging comments and votes, I love you all more than you know. Whenever I am feeling down or don't have the motivation, I read those comments and dms you guys have sent me and I suddenly feel a harsh wave of motivation hit me! Trust me, it was all possible because y'all were there.

I have never taken so long to finish a book, I remember finishing my first book (which is by the way in my drafts right now) in just 4 months and there were 70+ chapters! I am amazed at my old self and her motivation. But trust me guys, I get ideas every single day, I even have the whole ending written in my notes which I am very excited and nervous about, I can't wait for your reactions! The only problem is time, I barely have any time for myself, let alone my book. BUT BUT BUT! My exams are gonna be over on the 27th of June and I am gonna be free after that, so I promise frequent updates after my exams! So I hope you could stick with me until the ending!

Thank you all once again for helping me reach this milestone! Take care of yourselves and I love you!❤
