Sarah Droegemueller was born in Provo, Utah and raised on a dairy farm. She knew by the age of 10 that working with words, not cows, would be her life's calling. While an English major at Brigham Young University, she won the annual Founder's Day essay contest. She spent several years writing for magazines, newspapers and newsletters before deciding to write novels while her children slept. The only things she likes better than writing books is reading good novels and watching her children grow.
