The name comes from my family's coat of arms - six coins, a symbol of my roots and traditions.
I'm an artist and writer based in Hokkaido, Japan. I grew up surrounded by vast nature, red-crowned cranes, and endless wetlands - all of which shaped my deep concern for environmental issues, especially climate change.
After retiring from my career as a reporter at the Mainichi Shimbun, one of Japan's oldest newspapers, I now spend my days creating novels, drawings, and visual poetry using crayons, pencils, and words.

My works have received several small awards. Recently, I published a visual poetry series on Wattpad, combining LGBTQ+ themed illustrations with tanka, a traditional form of Japanese poetry. It's a cross-cultural, cross-generational expression of emotion and art.
I love motorcycles, fly fishing, tap dancing, tarot reading - and of course, chocolate. I even hold a "professional" certificate in chocolate knowledge from a major Japanese confectionery company! 😄
