Hi again. So A lot has happened in last few months. And I was originally planning of coming back and sharing my stories. It is a good way to get exposure for stuff stuff I published. But a friend I've been workshopping with over on Scribophile has told me about the benefits of Kindle Unlimted. I never did like the idea of it because I don't like my work being exclusive to one retailer. But my meager sales have been declining fora couple years now with Smashwords as the Nook is crashing and burning. So right now I feel like I have nothing lose. The catch is, if I pursue working with this new retailer, I am not allowed to have even a little chunk of my work in print form anywhere on the internet, which is a huge shame.

So I had to remove my work. I may continue to share audio versions of the tale here, because that is allowed still with the Amazon contract. I don't know if people would like that though. It seems most people here enjoy reading rather than listening to my voice rambling on as I read my own work. Because my audio stuff is pretty rough. I just read things out loud as I edit and the audio stories are merely a by product.

So if anyone wants the audio stuff shared, then let me know and I will share it here outside of my Youtube Channel.

Hi everyone. I had an awful week. It begins with an CPU burning out and damaging my hard drive and ends with me only able to get back a portion of my book projects. And what I was doing here was tied directly to audio books that I lost. My plan was to revise a lot of my old stuff I did before college, and I was doing so by reading them out loud, creating audio books. I was posting the 10 minute chunks of the audio versions out on the internet and the corresponding sections here. (Hence why I have been including the audio version with my stories here as a bonus) It was a good system. Simple. Organized. I got share better versions of my work with more people and if they wanted to support my work they could buy the ebook for $1 and make a donation to Patreon. Those audio books and revised versions were lost this week, so I will have to start from scratch again with this project. Which is such a shame, I made sure I had a back log of audio stories before posting. After The Island, then it was going to be Somewhere Beyond the Sea, then Vanity, and then Late Shift at Pennies and so on. I had it all planned out, and it fell apart this week because I did not back up my work on flash drive or cloud.

So if anyone has been reading my work, I apologize. I hate it too. I wish this never happened. It will be a while before I can continue posting here again, because this audio story method of revisions is a bit time consuming (But the results are totally worth the effort if you can keep them). So I am sorry for the wait.

Hi everyone. I have been gone for a while and I kind of knew ahead of time way back when, so my last post was a grand farewell, as I was just beginning to work through college, and I decided to keep my focus on a single writing community alone which was Scribophile, as my time became increasingly less plentiful when it came to my favorite hobby.

But now that I am out of college a year or so, I am reassessing everything I have done in writing so far. And I realized in my "I'm going to famous author" days right out of high school, and in the overly stressed college years, I made some choices is my self-publishing adventures which are both good and bad. And the mistakes are what I intend to fix because it is little bit of a mess.

So this is what I am doing now. I am going through all of my old works, revising them by reading them out loud with a microphone. In turn I am creating an audio book and a revised new edition of the novel or short story. I want to make things the best they can be and fix any mistakes I may have made and never noticed before which seem to vary from title to title. And weekly, (every Sunday) I am posting the chunk of story here simultaneously with the audio version over on Youtube at my channel Project Stories. This is a bit of an experiment for me to share my work, fix my mistakes, and raised some awareness to my ebook versions that collected dust for roughly four years or so.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy what have to post and hope you all have a great week!

P.S. I apologize for leaving back in 2012. I was so overwhelmed, there was no way I could remain an active member on the site at the time.

Hi! I'm not sure if you'd remember me, but you visited my website a while back. Just wanted to drop you a quick note saying that I'm re-building my site now due to a name change, and I'm on here too (but you probably already figured that one out, hehe)! :)

Hi there everyone. I'm here to make a announcement. It is not a very happy one unfortunately. But I always like to give everyone a heads up before I can pull my stuff. Anyways, the story Poison, is reaching a the completion point, polished wise and I will be removing the book near the end of septemberish. I may post more revised chapters of the story up until that point, but it will be removed by the time I start to self publish. So everyone is warned. It's not staying here forever. Beyond that point, I will start posting a new project. It is a ghost tale murder mystery that some of you might find enjoyable called the Firestarter Cases. There are also more episodes of the Daily Chronicle coming and chapters of Pandora's Box. I apologize that I have been so slow. I've been working all summer and college has been super demanding as well. So I'm doing the best I can to balance things out. So be patient if you can.

Also one last thing. All of you may have noticed my lack of activity here. Yes I have been busy, but there is also another reason. I have officially moved over to another community called Scribophile. The reviews are so incredibly detailed and amazing there, and much less of a fan site. Nothing against Wattpad. This community is great to get work out there, Its just hard to get in depth reviews. So with the limited time I have is reserved for Scribophile. But if anyone of you ever join the site, look me up, leave a message on the scratch pad and i will be happy to review your work. Here's my profile if you ever join

          http://www.scribophile.com/authors/samie-foster/

P.S. I will still be posting my current and edited projects on at this site to be read here. I'm not leaving.

P.S.S. Thank you everyone for being my fan here. I'm so glad you all found something you liked in my work. I know there are not many of you. But still love the fact that someone dug through all the stuff on this site and found my work to be a fan of. I really really appreciate it.

@RainbowCrash Yes. I have. It was posted in two parts on the "When They Haunt Me" Chapter 1 link you gave me. Its not buried or any thing. It's right on top. But your page did kind of show up funny (with formatting and whatnot )when I wrote the review. The website might be glitching or something letting me see it, but not you. So if you don't see it still, let me know. I'll try sending it to you as a personal message instead. Hopefully that will work.

Lots of new stuff posted today. New revised, edited chapters are added to Poison as I'm going through the editing process toward the final product. Lelue's finally free from her curse, leading to the dark twist in A Fairy's Tale. The next chapter in the episodic project, The Daily Chronicle is finally posted, where Audri must face a old friend who has returned with psychotic tendencies. Then lastly, the side project Pandora's Box finally has some new bits added, finally reaching the point where Pandora is finally going on her quest. I apologize for the slow pace of that story. I wrote that one when I was kid actually. So just bear with me on that one.

Okay world, it's the beginning of a new year and there is a lot of new stuff posted as well. More chapters of the dark fantasy "A Fairy's Tale" is posted. My first every attempt at the steam punk genre is posted as well. It is the new short story posted in the "Heads In The Clouds" collection called the Island. I hope some of you will take out time to check it out. And lastly, the superhero fantasy story Poison is up entirely. So now you can read it from beginning to end. It'll be here a good while, until I'm done editing it, so read it while it's here. And oh yeah, some new bits of Pandora's Box is up if you're interested. And that is all. Happy New Years everyone. Best wishes to everyone.
