Hi there fellow wattpader(?)! 

My name is Maria and I write. A lot. I only have like 13 published stories but I can guarantee you I have around 70 drafts. Anyways, if you want to chat just PM me! If you want me to write a book, just PM me! If you want someone to rant to, just PM me! I'm either on here, eating, sleeping, or playing a sport but most of the time I'm on here.

Purple or Turquoise

Favorite Book?
Can't choose, honestly. I love the Red Queen series, and the Throne of Glass series. I also like Keeper of the Lost Cities and Adventurers Wanted.  And Divergent and The Hunger Games, and the Legend Trilogy, and Caraval. 

Book recommendations? 
Look above. If I had to choose ONE of them to recommend, it's Caraval. It's a standalone book, but it's flipping amazing. 

Favorite Hobby?

Sports team?
I like the Warriors, but I don't really watch sports. I play them.

Band?
5 Seconds of Summer - they're in the middle of making their third album, and not really doing anything toooooo exciting, so I'm currently listening to a bunch of ATL and other bands. 

Am I proud of my writing? 
Sometimes. I'll be proud of it at the time I write it, and then I'll look back at it a month later and think 'what was I thinking'. There are VERY few books that I'm proud of that I've written in the past. 

Why do I write? 
I think my love for writing stems from my love of reading. I've been reading for as long as I can remember, and I almost always have to limit myself to a few books when I go to book stores.  I think the way the authors created a whole new, fascinating world in their books intrigued me and made me want to write like them. (Of course, I doubt I'll ever be as good as them) 

Fun fact: I timed myself reading a page of an average book in 8th grade and I read it thoroughly in like 45 seconds. Give me a 500 page book that's good and I'll be done by the end of the day.
