I don't think my grandmother seems to understand that I am alright with my life. They only thing I would change is the homophobic comments that are directed at my community. 
          
          Bottom line is, that I love my girlfriend and I love my friends and family who support me. 
          
          I don't think I've made any stupid decisions about my life, other than the fact that I dated males.

Dear parents who feel like they failed their kids because the kid is gay. You failed them when you didn't accept them, isolated them, and told them it was just a phase.
          
          I apologize for being a bad influence on your kid. I only told them it was okay to be gay. Your kid just found herself and I accepted her-

          My cousin has no support system other than her cousins and my aunt goes and grounds her from her phone for talking to me.

          Just cause your kid is gay doesn't mean you should isolate them.
          
          You are not being a bad parent for letting your kid be gay, you're being a bad parent for isolating and being homophobic to your child.
          
          But you know what sorry for influencing your kid to be gay despite the fact the internet and tv exist.
